Lesson Learned...

This one has taken me some time to learn but over the past few years of going back to school a fire has been lit in me and I have seen the LiGhT!

My desire to succeed has really pushed me to where I'm at today.

I will Officially Graduate with my Associates Degree.

It was two years ago that my Mother-in Law passed away, she would defiantly be proud. She has been in our thoughts each day since and will be missed. As we move forward making memories I'm she will be
watching us from Heaven.

So here is to moving forward and being the Success that you Desire!



Counting down the days..

   Today it's Red...

     The days are numbered and I can not wait! Only a few more things to check off my list before my classes will be complete and I will be done with my Associates Degree in General Studies and Certificate in Human Services from Kellogg Community College. 
     I remember back to the Fall of 2009 When I was full of energy and could not wait to start all of my classes. Since then life has went into full swing. Working a new job, while having classes overlapping the past three weeks. When the thought of continuing on with my Bachelors degree entered my Brain I thought it was a great idea... Now that I have, I'm wondering how I ever thought I was going to survive this CrAzY point in my life. Some how I have muddled through day by day. Just taking a deep breath and hoping for the best. Spending long hours in the basement on this computer, reading typing and studying.

Will it ever end?!?!   I say jokingly day after day. :)

Yes, I know things will settle down and my life might return to something normal but until then I will just keep plugging away and hoping for the best.

We will see. School is almost done with and only a few finals left to complete before my classes at KCC are complete! : )

          Things are a bit crazy right now. Today I worked 11-7:30pm came home to see my husband and 15 minutes later my Father-in-law knocks on the door. It seems like its always one thing afte another. Then not to mention I have a TON of Homework to complete. As my final semester at Kellogg Community College comes to an end in the next 10 days. I dont know how I ever thought I was going to be able to juggle Assoicates degree classes ending, Bachelors degree classes starting, Home Life and a Job for 3 weeks. Well the job did get added to the equasion towards the end... But still this is crazy.

 

Anyways...  This is my life = CRAZY.   :)

Project: Happily Ever After

I first saw this book advertised on the Today show. One morning while enjoying my "normal" routine, sitting on the couch and enjoying my bowl of cereal and glass of OJ. It was then when it dawned on me. Am I her or is she me? Yes our last names are the same but I was referring to more than just that. Her story rang true on a few different levels.

This book was one I just had to get and actually read!

Now after just 2 days of having the book I am nearly 160 pages engrossed in it and honestly enjoying my time READING… Yes, very strange since I’m currently attending college and hating nearly every minute that I have to spend reading out of a text book.

Last night after spending a few hours of reading: I wondered did she blog while going through all this and sure enough she did. Once again here I go reading my Horoscope again before I call it a night. Now I'm left here thinking.

Today is a domestic sort of day. You've been neglecting your home recently (True) and now is a good time to make up for it. (Really, Tonight?) Clear out the clutter and get organized. (Okay)  If you're ambitious, you might even want to try a little cooking. (Does Banana Bread Count?)  Why else have you been saving magazine recipes? (Okay, TRUE)  You will enjoy the result of getting things in order and allowing yourself the pleasure of a positive day. ( Really, but its bed time)

Whew! I think I'm going to save this To Do List for the weekend maybe. 

Interesting maybe this was just what I needed to hear seems how 10 minutes ago, I was looking at our bank account thinking we needed to cut back on eating out...  Time to look though those magazine recipes.
